About Me:

My name is Mack and I live in Indy. I have a perfect wife and 2 young kids. I am a geek by trade, implementing strategic Microsoft products for big companies…but I am occasionally more passionate about other things. In proper order, the things that I also care about:

• My wife and kids — I do not deserve any of them
• Sports — watching them in person or on TV and talking about them almost incessantly
• Woodworking — the key to my tenuous grip on sanity
• Deer Hunting — a bit more work than driving to the grocery, but a great excuse to spend time with Mother Nature

About The Site:

I started this blog to have a place to share my thoughts on the world of sports, as well as the thoughts of my brother, Bill. From the very beginning, we have tried to take a more intellectual approach than standard sports blogs…all of the articles here are designed to express a well-formed opinion or well-researched topic of interest.  Hopefully, you will find something here compelling.

I want this to be an open forum. All opinions are welcome, but I urge you to keep the language clean. I understand that talking about sports tends to make folks passionate, especially when they are engaging in a dialogue with those whose opinion differs from their own. Passion is encouraged; heated debate is encouraged; colorful language is tolerated; but keep it within reason. If you cannot express your written opinion without excessive or repetitive harsh language, we will reject your post or comments.

That being said, there may, on occasion, be some colorful language present in the podcasts, but those that contain such matter will always be clearly marked.
